Anthony Martial rejects Manchester United contract offer but talks continue in hope of agreement

Anthony Martial has rejected Manchester United's most recent contract offer yet talks will proceed in quest for an assention.

United want Martial to commit to a new long-term deal, with his current terms lapsing next summer and an expansion alternative accessible for a further year until 2020.

Talks have been progressing since a late spring move window in which manager Jose Mourinho was ready to part with the Frenchman, and his operator freely conceded the player needed to leave Old Trafford.

The United progression have been resolved to keep him, trusting despite everything he has a great deal to offer and dreading he could satisfy his potential somewhere else, having made the 22-year-old the world's most costly young person in an arrangement from Monaco that could ascend to £58m.

Martial has been unable to establish himself in the first-team so far this season however, making only four Premier League begins, yet he has scored three objectives in six class appearances in all and once in his three Champions League trips.
